Having only recently had the pleasure of discovering Harlan Coben, I thoroughly enjoyed Long Lost which features sports agent and private investigator, Myron Bolitar. He and his associate, Win, have come a long way from the original Deal Breaker. Myron is summoned to Paris by a former lover, Terese Collins, who wants his help in learning the fate of her divorced husband. Their investigation leads through a maze of international terrorists, bizarre cults and Homeland Security agents.
Although the plot is based on a questionable premise, it is quite easy to ignore as one follows the characters in a fast-moving series of adventures. Coben's fans will enjoy the twists and turns they have come to expect.
